Coffee Mornings
The first Coffee Mornings of the year was a great success! Lovely to renew old friendships and meet new people.
Hopefully, we’ll be able to continue with these very enjoyable gatherings. The next dates are June 16th and July 21st, 10:30 till noon, Village Hall. Come and chat; there will be biscuits, and the 100 club winners will be drawn. Everyone is welcome.
Film Club
Film Club was due to start again on Friday 28th May. However, we have decided to put it back a few weeks. We will now be starting on Friday 18th June, when we hope to be able to offer our usual puds/tea/coffee etc after the film.
Film Club members will all receive email details of the film programme soon. We plan to start with ‘Restless Natives’ on the 18th; we looked for a film that would be a bit of light, feel good entertainment after a pretty challenging year for us all, hopefully this is it.
We look forward to seeing members again and to welcoming new members.
Please note: From now on Film Club will meet on the 3rd Friday in the month, instead of the last Friday as before.
