Art Class: Every Wednesday 7.30pm - 9.30pm (breaks for half term) - a mixed ability, mixed medium group under the tutelage of Tony Pearson. We will always welcome new members - either just come along or give Joan Egner a call first on 01295 660331. If you would like to come along and see if we might be the group for you please pop in any week about 8.30pm as this is the time we usually have the kettle on and you would be really welcome to join us for a tea or coffee.

Saturday 20th 10.30am - 12noon - Coffee Morning in the Village Hall to raise funds for the St Leonard’s Church Tower Appeal. Attractions include cakes, raffle, jigsaws, bric-a-brac and lots more.

Saturday 27 - Village Hall Quiz - lots of fun and good natured ‘heckling’ Teams of 4 people £10 per Team Lots of prizes and easy questions. 7.30pm in the village hall.

Saturday 20th - exclusive new and used sale of ladies clothes, hats, bags and shoes including designer labels. Various sizes and styles. 10am to 3pm in the Village Hall.
Saturday 27th - Quiz in the Village Hall 7.30pm - light hearted fun, lots of prizes - reffle and light refreshments - bring your own drinks and glasses £10/team of four.

Saturday 10th am - Planning meeting for village fete - 10am in the village hall
Saturday 17th - Collegium Regale (Choral Scholars from King’s College, Cambridge) in St Leonard’s Church. Tickets £15 each from Mrs thornicroft, The Gate House, Aston Le WAlls from 10th March.

Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June - Flower Festival in St Leonard’s Church with a special Songs of Praise on the sunday evening starting at 6.30pm. There will also be refreshments available in the Village Hall, together with a small exhibition of work by members of the Aston Le Walls Art Class.

Village Hall - Scarecrow Weekend 10th and 11th of July. Starts at 11am from the Village Hall in Main Street on both days. Ice Creams for sale on Welsh Lane all day and cream teas in the afternoon at Washbrook Barn in Blacksmith Lane in the afternoons.
St Leonard’s Tower Appeal - ‘Pate, Puds and Plonk!’ - a relaxed and informal evening by invitation of Susan Fagg. More information to follow.

Saturday 4th Fruit & Flower Show 2.30pm @ the village hall

Village Hall – ‘Sylvia’s Exhibition’. This annual exhibition by the members of the Art Class will take place on Sunday ?? November in the Village Hall from 11am to 4.30pm. For a nominal entry charge of £1 for adult and 50p for children, you can come and view pictures produced in several different media, many to a very high standard. Some of the art work is for sale and would make excellent Christmas gifts. Tea/coffee and cake will also be available. All proceeds from this event go directly to the upkeep of the village hall.

Saturday ?? December - come along to Christmas Bingo at the Village Hall. £3 will buy the necessary books for the games that will be played. Raffle tickets will be for sale together with light refreshments which will be available in the break.

Hi My name is Andy and I own and run the website for the Stratford Upon Avon & Midland Junction railway (or SMJ). The SMJ had a small halt at Aston Le Walls and i was wondering if the village had someone how might remeber it and who could give me some background on it for the site.
