On this occasion all the organisations within the village are invited to give a brief report of their activities over the past 12 months. Also invited to speak are our County and District Councillors and our Community Police Officer.

Updated information – 25 March 2011
Over the last week the Parish Council has received lengthy consultation information in respect of the planning application for a proposed wind turbine on land to the north of Boddington Reservoir – it amounts to 4 ring binders & a spiral bound document. Those wishing to respond to Daventry District Council should do so in writing by 6th April 2011.
Two HS2 hard copy consultation documents have also been received.
In order to make this information to as many residents who may be interested in viewing it, please can we ask for the Village Hall Committee’s tolerance to it being placed near the noticeboard to the rear of the Village Hall.
We appreciate many residents have access to a computer and will be aware of websites / internet access to such information but we are mindful that some may not. I have acquired a table for the purpose, and have displayed it all in an orderly manner and put a note on the main noticeboard suggesting residents look when they visit the Village Hall for their usual activities or gain access to quietly read info via a committee member/keyholder & we are certain you all would be happy to lend a key to someone at a convenient time. I checked with Jo to see if there were any larger functions booked during the next month and she confirmed there were not.
Parish Councillors attendance at the Environmental Agency/NCC/SNC meeting last week re the imminent temporary closure of the A361 for the Banbury Flood Alleviation Scheme has provided us with some A4 paperwork which has also been made available on the table.
Aston le Walls Parish Council now has its own email address – alwparishcouncil@btinternet.com
If you wish to contact the Parish Council, please email the Parish Clerk, Gill Taylor at this address
The Annual Parish Open Meeting will be held on Thursday 15th April 2010 at 8pm in the Village Hall.

Would it be possible to publish parish council minutes on the Website too?
Hi
Thanks for you email to the Aston le Walls website. I just wonder if you are asking the question as you are a member of the Parish council and would like to reach a wider audience or whether you are an interested member of the community who would like to see the parish council minutes? As far as I am concerned, as administrator of the web site, I would be more than happy to have the minutes on the website – I am not sure if they are produced in an electronic form or written in a book? If they are electronic and if someone wanted to email them to me I would be very happy to transfer them to the web site. I hope this answers the question.
Best wishes
Sue Ball
