We have a thriving community in Aston le Walls but always welcome new ideas for growing!
W.I. is returning! More information soon.
The Summer Fete is held in the gorgeous garden of The Old Rectory and raises much needed funds for the upkeep of St Leonard’s Church. Last year’s fete (2019) raised a fantastic amount of approximately £2788, and much thanks are due to Johnnie and Philip for opening their garden for this brilliant event (and for the use of the bunting!). Well done to everyone who helped, organised, baked, grew things, juggled, cooked or spent money – a great effort by all.
The Village Hall Committee works hard to keep the Hall flourishing; holding events such as the Film Club, the Scarecrow Weekend, 100 Club, Quiz nights and other exciting happenings. Leave a comment on this website for more information or to join the gang. Click here for the Village Hall page.
Coffee mornings have been started in the Village to provide a venue for new comers to get to know their neighbours and oldsters to keep up-to-date with each other! Held on the second Wednesday in the month with tea, coffee and biscuits provided and all are welcome – young, old, women, men and children. See Coming Soon page for next dates.
The Village Newsletter is published every two months by Sue and Steve N (568) and any news, pictures or comments would be very welcomed by them.
Pilates takes place on Monday evening, 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Please contact Sam Clarke on 07444 845516 for further details.
Sewing Club Unfortunately Sewing Club will no longer be held in Aston-le-Walls Village Hall. It is moving to Napton due to a change of organiser. We have had some very enjoyable days over the years and anyone is welcome to join the group in Napton.
